The surgery is performed through small holes made over the abdomen through which a camera and fine working instruments are inserted.<\/p><p>Laser surgery is an upcoming and relatively new modality of treatment for piles, fistula, fissures, and pilonidal sinus. It is also used for the treatment of Varicose veins in the legs<\/p><p>Dr. Anushtup De is an alumnus of Medical College Calcutta, the oldest and one of the most renowned medical colleges in India. After completing his Postgraduation DNB in General Surgery in 2006, he did his fellowship in basic and advanced Laparoscopic Surgery under the prestigious India Association of Gastrointestinal Surgeons of India. Simultaneously, he secured a membership in the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburg (MRCS) in 2016.
